Basic Computer and Internet Skills . . .
· Possess the ability to start, shutdown, and restart the computer.
· Navigate a window using a mouse to include pointing, clicking, and dragging.
· Utilize the parts of a window, such as the scroll bar, dialog boxes, and menus.
· Create folders, copy and move objects, save and open documents and files.
· Format, copy, and delete files to, or from a drive or diskette.
· Access the web through the use of an Internet browser.
· Use a web browser and Internet search engines.
· Download documents from the web.
· Use email and send or access email attachments.
· Download and install auxiliary programs such as "Real One Player".

And I understand that, especially now and especially at a community college, there are older people taking classes who didn't grow up using them in school. But they're probably not going the online course. At least, for their own sanity, I hope they're not.
