So I've only known all semester that this portfolio is due next Monday. Actually, I've known since the summer. And now that I have all of today and tomorrow to finish (I'll be away for the weekend), I'm sick and exhausted on top of it. I really need to stop doing this.

Twilight
Ok, I haven't read the books (and don't really plan to) so maybe I'm just missing something- but after listening to my coworker counting down the minutes (literally) until the movie started (starting from about 18 hours), I watched the trailers. All I can say is, I'm not impressed. The 'sexy' vampire looks like a serial killer to me, the chick isn't hot, frankly the one blonde guy who looks a little like Brad Pitt is the closest to attractive at all. The special effects are pretty cheesy, the dialogue I heard was lame. Maybe I'm just getting too judgmental (who, me?) But I don't think I'll be rushing out to see this one.

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince
I'll admit: I read the book. Don't remember much of it, but I read it. Still haven't read the last one. After the fourth book I really stopped caring. Something about the complete personality change from semi-normal-yet-under-emotional pre-teen to whiny-emo-boy in .4 seconds between books kinda irked me. After that, well, I've read better fanfics. Lots of them. The trailer isn't even all that pretty, really, it's fairly confusing even if you know the story. The only shot I like is so quick you might miss it, and it's got to be Snape during *that* moment. I figure, wait until the library has it, borrow it for free, and watch the last 30 minutes or so, that should be enough.


Ok, guess I'm done insulting movies I haven't seen. I felt like being harmlessly judgmental tonight.
